Does my restaurant has to participate for the entire length of the Puerto Rico Prix Fixe Event?
Every participating restaurant is required to participate for at least (6) six consecutive months.
I am a chain restaurant and/or own more than one restaurant. Does each restaurant has to register individually if they want to participate?
Yes. All restaurants receive identical benefits so each participating restaurant has to register individually.
How will Puerto Rico Prix Fixe Event and my restaurant be promoted?
The promotional strategy will be as follows:

- Interactive digital banner of Puerto Rico Prix Fixe Event in Eventos De Portada.
- Weekly email drop to Eventos De Portada’s data base with interactive logos of participating restaurants.
- Interactive digital banner in calendar section of Eventos De Portada.
- Promotional execution thru Facebook, Twitter & Instagram accounts of Puerto Rico Prix Fixe Event and Eventos De Portada.
- Individual Micro page with menu and contact information of participating restaurants of Puerto Rico Prix Fixe Event in Eventos De Portada.
- Approximate cost of monthly promotional campaign is $7,000
When is the deadline to participate in the Puerto Rico Prix Fixe Event?
The restaurant will participate in the program as soon as the registry has been completed.
How do I register my restaurant at the Puerto Rico Prix Fixe Event?

Do I have to offer a multi-course Prix Fixe dinner?
Yes. Each restaurant determines its special multi-course menu and the price per person.
Do I decide the price of my Prix Fixe Menu?
Yes. Each restaurant decides the offer that wants to extend as part of the Puerto Rico Prix Fixe Event.
Can I include alcoholic beverages in the fixed price?
Yes. To attract customers, restaurants can include beer, wine, cocktails or any other beverage in the multi-course fixed price or the restaurant can offer discounted cocktails or wine as an additional way to grow the guest check.
Can I offer “upgrades” to the fixed price menu for more money?
Yes. Restaurants can offer a fixed price multi-course meal with special add-ons at additional costs. For example, you could offer the basic option and then, tableside, offer the customer the option to “add shrimp for $4 or lobster for $8”.
Does my restaurant has to offer three appetizers or starters, three entrees and three desserts to choose from?
Yes, we expect all restaurants to follow the guidelines agreed to when registering for the Puerto Rico Prix Fixe Event.
When will my restaurant be listed on the website?
Your restaurant will be listed as soon as you register online, make your payment and complete the online form.
How do I maximize my participation in the Puerto Rico Prix Fixe Event?
- Familiarize your staff with Puerto Rico Prix Fixe Event to ensure they know about the event and can answer questions guests may have.
- Track Puerto Rico Prix Fixe Event through your POS System as we will be asking you to give us a report of the actual numbers of meals sold at the end of the program to evaluate its success.
- Utilize the Puerto Rico Prix Fixe Event logo for your own website communication, e-reservation confirmations and correspondence with your guest database. The logo will be e-mailed to the address given on the Participation Agreement.
- You can also arrange to have entertainment in YOUR restaurant during the event day to entice more guests.
